We are thrilled to share with you some exciting news from the FIATA RAME 2023 conference that took place in Kampala, Uganda from August 1 to 3. The conference was graced by the presence of the guest of honor, Hon. Amelia Kyambadde, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives of Uganda, who officially opened the event and commended the role of FIATA and its members in facilitating trade and enhancing regional integration.
The FIATA president, Mr. Basil Pietersen, also delivered a keynote address that highlighted the challenges and opportunities facing the freight forwarding industry in Africa and the Middle East.
